Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery is an evidence-based program that has been incredibly helpful for my patients over the years. There are a number of resources available to assist cancer patients in learning about this program.
Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery: A Step-by-Step MBSR Approach to Help You Cope with Treatment and Reclaim Your Life is a book written by Drs. Linda Carlson and Michael Speca from the University of Calgary. This straightforward and easy to read book provides helpful tools for patients who are learning to manage the stress of cancer.
